CHINT T&D concentrates on independent innovation, improving core and key technology of T&D to be an advanced manufacturer.

Based on Shanghai Technology Center of Enterprise, Shanghai Advanced Technology Enterprise and Key Advanced Technology Enterprise of National Torch Plan, Chint was built and composed by the senior, the middle aged and the young experts. 5% of the total sales are put into R&D to support the development in systemization, integration, automation, entering into the high voltage T&D field comprehensively.

An excellent team of more than 900 people was formed by gathering the first-class domestic and foreign talents. They devoted themselves, with a manner of self-surpassing and challenging, to the modernization of large scale power T&D system.

CHINT has improved the technology and equipment condition by introducing and developing products, trying to reach advanced level at home and first class abroad and to enhance technology and facilities into first rate continuously, investing millions Yuan into adopting the T&D manufacturing and inspection equipment like production line of the most advanced Sonon cutting, automatically corrugated oil tank and HV static electricity powder spraying, etc., as well as equipping with complete set of auxiliary facilities. We believe it is the reliable safeguard to carry out the information technology like Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS) and Product Data Management (PDM).
